TypeSpeciman Foundations Book

Study and explore typography fundamentals through the development of a 12-page type specimen book. A type specimen is a publication, often in pamphlet form, that shows the range of a particular typeface in use. Printers and typographers have produced type specimens for hundreds of years. You will design a unique book that uses the text from a late nineteenth-century/early twentieth-century novel (in the public domain) to educate your reader about classic literature and typography. The novel will provide the theme, content and inspiration for your Type Specimen Book.
